aspiro 1u

Sept. 12, 2017 (NOVI, MICHIGAN) – Critical Power Expo 2017

Green Cubes (formerly branded as UNIPOWER) LLC today announced the Aspiro 1U is a compact, integrated, ETSI rack mounted DC power system for use in the North American market. This power system, providing an output of -48VDC, includes multiple features including remote monitoring and control, hot-swappable high-efficiency rectifiers, a field replaceable controller, and an LCD display.

“In mission-critical environments, it is imperative for power systems to stay online, report any potential problems and not lose the integrity of its application,” said Vice President of Marketing John Ely. “The Aspiro 1U incorporates advanced technology and leading-edge features that will ensure all DC loads are able to remain stable without interruption.”

Available immediately, the Aspiro 1U includes an industry leading three-year warranty and can accommodate the full Aspiro family of high efficiency hot-swap rectifiers. The rectifiers are internally fan cooled with speed control which is a function of load and temperature, keeping acoustic noise to a minimum. The Aspiro 1U family features a low power version fitted with a 20A shunt to provide improved management of small batteries

The DC output circuits can provide up to four loads with breakers rated from 1A to 30A, or up to 10 15A GMT fuses. An additional breaker provides battery protection and a programmable low voltage battery disconnect (LVD) is standard. A hurricane message to our valued partners and customers

hurricane

As many of you may know, a Category 5 hurricane is bearing down on Florida. Landfall is expected this weekend and depending on the speed of the storm, is likely to hit the South Florida region near our Coral Springs facility. The impact to our operations in the US, as well as regional and global logistics could be severe.

Rest assured, as a team we have put in place contingency plans to address scheduled shipments over the next several days including disaster recovery and startup after the storm passes. These plans include working overtime in advance of the storm, and shifting workload to our other facilities in Tennessee and Europe. Furthermore, sales and customer service personnel outside the region are still likely to have communications capability and will be ready to support you as needed.

In the meantime, should you have any questions or concerns regarding this matter, please feel free to reach out to me or our Global Director of Customer Service, John Resnik (john.resnik@greencubes.com).

We greatly appreciate your support and patience during this emergency, and will inform you once we’re fully operational post the weather event.
